How to build a Rapture Alarm.

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

If you are not ready to leave in the Rapture, I suggest you get ready, or, obtain a nail clipping from a Bible believing born again Christian to use in this project. Get an old fashioned wood clothes pin with the spring closure and wrap the jaw ends with thin copper foil so that the copper clad jaws will make contact when they close. Solder leads to these and put your nail clipping into the jaws to keep them apart. Now, hook up your leads to any kind of alarm system that can activate on a closed circuit. Then you have it! When 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 happens the alarm will go off, since the nail clipping is part of a saint’s body.

Sound crazy? Not as crazy as missing out on God’s love and rewards…

A meeting with Jesus.

Not long after after my sweet wife, Geneva, died, I was dreaming one night and heard two people talking, one person was bringing up names of people I knew who had died. “What about so and so?” The answer came, “They are safe, they are with me.” I was fascinated by these questions and answers. I had to see who was taking, when I looked, the one answering the questions was Jesus, Himself. To my surprise, the one asking was myself, I was there in the third person and totally caught up in this conversation. When I walked in closer I entered my body and began to see Jesus face to face through my own eyes. That explains why I didn’t fall down and worship Him as I would have wanted, I didn’t want to interrupt. I finished my list of people who had died, but the exact list was taken from me, I only know who I would have asked about, my wife included and some of our church members. Every one of the people I asked about, Jesus said they were with Him, so that was a great relief to me.

He reach out to hug me goodbye and in doing so, I found myself with my chin on his right shoulder and there was His ear, inches from my mouth! He had a beard, but not long hair as most paintings show, he was a bit taller than my 5 foot, 9 inch frame, I half whispered to Him, “What about me, Lord, will I make it? To my shock, He fell silent, where the conversation had been so free before, I craned my neck back to see His face, there was no anger there, but no answer! We were still hugging, I pleaded, “Why won’t you answer me, Lord?” Instead of a verbal answer, he gave me a squeeze as if to end our embrace, as my wife and I would have done if one of us were parting for a season. But, when he did that he planted the answer into my heart without a word.

I said, “I know why you’re not answering me, Lord! If you told me I wasn’t going to make it, that would take all the wind out of my sails, If you told me I was going to make it, I’d get right smug with myself, I’d probably slack right off (from being careful of my faith), wouldn’t I? I know what I’ve got to do, Lord, I’ve got to keep on keeping on!” At this point, I awoke from sleep and had several scriptures to look up. I still have a “Know so” faith, but we have to make sure today, that we are doing God’s will, and heed the warnings given in His word.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (I had asked to be judged before my death, not allowed! It was allowed for the thief on the cross, but his death was near, even that day.)

Philippians 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I (Paul) counted loss for Christ. 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

God did for me exactly what Paul said, If Paul wasn’t told, why should I be told?, I needed this lesson, but most of all I needed that hug!

Ten Things that fly in the Face of Man

The world, our media, TV networks, News, Print, the so called Main Stream of our world all point to contradictions in the Bible, but they never point out the true contradictions found in that sacred text. The problem is that the Bible doesn’t contradict itself, it contradicts MAN. I’m going to do a much needed Bible study of 10 things that Jesus said that fly in the face of men and why the world is so ticked off at what He said. These may not be grouped in order of things that offend men most, but the world hates them just the same.
1 Jesus said that he is the Son of God and that the words he spoke were not his, but from the Holy Father (God Himself). He prays in John 17:8 O Father,… I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me…And in John_17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Matthew_24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Mark_8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. Saint John says in John_3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. John_12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. John_14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. John_5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 10:31-36 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? Everyone else can give his or her opinion, but Jesus says His word is the way it is and comes from God Himself, and that flies in the face of man every time.
2 Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. We worry so much about our youth being confident, having a good self image, good self asteem. We like having those things too, but Jesus says it is better to be poor in spirit.
3 Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. No one (at least of our friends) wishes us a sorry Holiday, sorry bithday. No, we want to be happy all the time, even Jesus says in John_15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. Can we be happy and sad at the same time? The word Blessed in our scripture means to be happy. Jesus says in John_16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. Wisdom brings a sorrow with it when we find that everyone does not want what God wants them to have.
4 Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Nice guys finish last, we say, but do they? Jesus says the last shall be first. That also flies in our face, does it not?
5 Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Look at the so called entertainment we have today. We see what would have been called hard pornography and filthy talk every day on TV, killing in video games is “good sport” we train, or at least, allow our children to watch blood be splattered day in and day out even in our cartoons. To the world, doing right is boring. “This is my life, go ahead with your own life, leave me alone” says the song. But Jesus has the Words of God that flies in the face of all that.
6 Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Forgive and you shall be forgiven, Jesus says, but we hold on to our grudges and won’t speak to -so and so- because of what they did to us, we bottle up all our resentment, just look at Congress and Washington they can’t agree on anything it seems. The liberals want to tax us to death and the conservatives want to cut everyones support so we’ll starve to death. Why did we elect so many people who want only to kill us? If that doesn’t fly in anyones face, I don’t know what will.
7 Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Even saying that we can be pure flies in the face of man. Who is He to tell us how to live? Jesus said that He is the Son of God.
8 Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Is there peace anywhere on this earth? We all say we want it, but we never seem to get there, do we?
9 Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Human rights are a joke today, we put animals above humans. We stand there watching the whales while churches are burning across the middle east and hardly a peep from the news media. They that declare Holy War on us point to all the things we do that Jesus said we aught not to do. But what does He know? Oh Yes, Jesus said that he is the Son of God.
10 Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. We all want to be liked, no, LOVED, Why must we do things that offend others? It is better to offend the world than to offend God. Jesus said that he is the Son of God and that flies in our face.
The world doesn’t mind a pure baby Jesus in a manger, it likes good children, even if they are a bit boring, but don’t you dare try to be a good, pure adult…That just flies in the face of man. Oh! Bye the way…Jesus said we must be born again, but what does He know…Oh yes, Jesus said that he is the Son of God and the words He spoke were not His, but God’s. Now what are YOU going to do about those words that fly in the face of man?

O taste and See!

KJV Psalms 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. 9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. 10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. 11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. 12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. 15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. 16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. 17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. 18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. 20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. 21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. 22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
